CHOWMEIN



Ingredients Of CHOWMEIN

  • 200 gms noodles
  • 2 tbsp oil (for cooking)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)/li>
  • capsicum (thinly sliced)
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 1 cup cabbage (shredded)
  • 2–3 spring onions (chopped)
  • 2 green chillies (slit)
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

How to Make CHOWMEIN

  1. Boil noodles with a little salt and 1 tsp oil till soft. Drain and rinse with cold water, keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok/kadhai. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till aromatic.
  3. Add onions, green chillies, carrot, capsicum, cabbage and stir-fry on high flame for 2–3 minutes (keep veggies crunchy).
  4. Add soy sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Garnish with spring onions and serve hot.
